learning about fashion

Ever since I became rather close friends with Anj and Kate (two of my best friends in my company now), I've learned a lot about fashion that I would probably not have taken into consideration under different circumstances.  I realized that even though I'm already married and with a 9-month old kid, I can be as fashionable as the rest of them.  I now pay more attention to fashion stuff, bought more dresses and sexier stuff.  Well, I wish I can dress up more often at the office but it could be a start.

I found this great site that can take me to the good schools on fashion, where I can definitely make a difference.  And given the chance, I would definitely jump at the chance to get into a fashion school in New York. Who wouldn't want that?  Fashion, for me, is not about being the classiest there is or wearing the most expensive outfits.  For me, learning about fashion gives a person the freedom to exercise his or her choices, and know the consequences of doing that.  I mean, there are those who claim to be fashionable and act all dressy but not meet the standards of "true fashion".  So the goal of getting into a fashion school, is to find out what the hype is all about.  In the end the choices would still be the person's, whether to dress fashionably, or to dress oppositely as fashion dictates.
