jessica's party updates
Ok, so here's an update on jessica's party preps, as of last saturday.
Venue - check!
Invites - Artwork - check! printing - to follow; packaging - still finalizing
Food - finalized menu, DP scheduled for late march
Photog - still thinking of getting one, not sure if I really need it kasi
Magician - not sure din if I need one, I want to, but I'm not sure if its practical
Face Painter - found a really cheap one at Php 1500 and booked it already. Sayang lang kasi he doesn't do any glitter paints, pero oks pa rin I'm sure the kids and adults can manage. hehehe....
Divi-sourced party stuff:
Ok, so here's the story.
Hubby and I went to Divi last Saturday to buy some party stuff for Jessica. Basically I still wanted to have subtle signs of the Disney Princess theme I wanted even in a small way, just to differentiate the otherwise "unthemed" party at KidzRepublic. So I was able to buy a couple of stuff, including prizes for the party games:
- Disney Princess Banner or Poster
- Disney Princess Party Hats - I bought 1 dozen disney princess hats and 6pcs of Looney tunes, in anticipation of boys that will be at the party
- Name tags for the kids (I think I bought 18 pcs of these)
- Snow White Pinata - veering away from the usual pabitin, I'm thinking of putting lots of candies in the pinata for the kids. and soft toys although I don't know what kind pa. but it should be soft nga so there's no risk of hitting the kids. Perhaps notepads that are packed in polybags? Hmmmm....
- Party poppers - I bought three, la lang, I'm thinking this goes well for the cake blowing. Or something. hehehe....
- Party Prizes - So far I have 2: Rubiks Cube keychains and soft balls. I still don't have an idea on the games so I don't know yet it i will have to add more prizes pa.
Jessica's Gown - we already found the gown for Jessica, but I'm thinking I should just buy it in April coz I don't need it naman too early and it may not fit pa if we bought it too early. Its going to be the Belle Gown.
Cake - Still haven't decided on the final design and where I will buy it. I can figure this out later na lang e. A good nice cake seems inviting but then I would think this isn't much the highlight of the party so it may not make too much sense to spend so much on the cake anyway.
What else have I left out? The main kiddie lootbag is still under production and I won't be getting it till around Mid April). Not that I'm worried, this seems to be the main attraction, after all. hehehe.... For the adult giveaways, I still dunno if I should give out any. Help me decide!
