Jessica's Party Venue

After so much contemplations and even delays versus my kpi's, I have finally reserved for the venue of Jessica's first birthday party!  And I have finally decided to have it at KidzRepublic, Megamall, on Jessica's exact birthdate, which happens to be a Saturday.  So I'm happy!!!!

Why KidzRepublic?  After so many hours contemplating (and computing), here are the primary reasons why I chose this venue over Balay Kalinaw (my first pencil booked venue) and any Jollibee or McDonalds out there:
  • Program Flow: I want the guests to at least have something to watch during the party, I did not want a boring party that will just have the guests eat and then finally go home.  I want them to really have a reason to stay.  And a party host was much to expensive, a good one with talent would cost me around 5000 bucks.  So I could have saved on the venue, but be forced to have a boring party, or not save at all by getting a party host there on the party.
  • The kids will have fun.  Face it, at the end of the day the kids should at least have something to look forward to aside from a good meal and a lootbag.  In that note, Kidzrepublic is perfect because I actually treated the kids to a nice party and allowed them to play at a place where they would otherwise spend their money on.
  • The mall is a good place to spend a party on, basically the guests would have reason to stay, since they can around the mall after or before a party, plus its so accessible, I won't even need to give them a map (duh.... nobody gets lost looking for megamall do they???).
So there, I was pretty much hesitant on the menu at first but I ended up happy afterwards when I was already decided on what to serve the guests.  I've already  reserved for the party, but will have to go back there again in March to book the food and finalize all the details.  In the end, I am really very happy about my decision.
