another long weekend
TGIF! Well, not so much, its the season to relax since we have this 4-day hiatus from work. And I feel so blessed and happy to have time to rest! I've been so busy at work I'm just so glad to be at home, even if it means I'll be home and not going out the rest of the weekend.
I'm thinking of several projects for the Christmas season though, and part of me wants to go back to Divisoria this weekend to buy a Christmas wreath, which for me will serve as our Christmas decor for this year. I figured I don't really need to buy a Christmas wreath yet since Jessica won't be able to appreciate it yet, so I'm just thinking of getting a wreath and decorating it myself. I could also buy some small christmas trees as centerpieces to add to the Christmas touch. However, I'm yet to find a Christmas wreath design that pleases me enough to copy it. hehehe.... Uh-oh, I may need to get a gluegun though, hmmm... I wonder if its something worth buying.... I'm choosing from two themes for the Christmas wreath: Silver or Wood. If its going to be silver, I'll use wide silver ribbons and ice flakes, now if its wood I'll use pine cones and probably poinsettias. I definitely don't want to go the traditional red and green way. Too common. Hmmm... how about merging the two themes? I wonder how that would look. Wish me luck!!!
